  Midwifing stories involves risk. We believe it’s possible to explore difficult content while caring for the artist’s well-being. Our goal is to foster great work, with kindness and compassion.

• Community Building is Transformative.

  Creating community is a way to practice abundance mindset; in a competitve industry, we believe that forging community amongst our peers is vital to our survival.

• Leading with Transparency

  Cultivating an equitable space is incomplete without transparency from those who hold power; In our practice, the coven (leadership)’s metaphorical door is always open. If you have concerns or hopes or dreams about how you want to cast/write/produce/direct, you can come to us.

• Open Door For Artists

  We encourage artists to give (time, talent, writing, projects, etc.) as they can, understanding that the life of a working artist is emotionally, energetically, financially, logistically demanding. Come when you can, leave gently when you can’t. We are a warm home where you can rest your weary feet.
